To help build research capacity across the broad domains of crime, justice and corrections, the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Sciences and Justice Studies offers various types of research funding for graduate students and faculty.

Student Funding

Research Awards up to $6,000 are available to current University of Saskatchewan graduate students who are in need of financial support to help cover the direct costs of their research activities. The next competition will be announced Spring 2021.

Faculty Funding

Research support for faculty by way of Research Development Grants up to $10,000 are available to pursue research that investigates a law, crime, justice and/or corrections topic from social science, health science, legal, management or interdisciplinary perspective.  The next call for applications will be announced in Fall 2021.
